Kelsi and Cameron were married on the first sunny day of October. I think everybody that attended (including myself) were in awe of what a perfect day it was to get married. From the moment I arrived, there was a frenzy of joyful energy in the air. Kelsi and Cameron were so excited to finally get married. Not a trace of nerves, just pure happiness and anticipation. Their children were the heart of the day, running in and out with their cousins, wrapping their arms around mom and dad, and adding the most beautiful kind of chaos and laughter to every moment.
One of my favourite parts of any wedding day, and especially theirs, is the first look. There’s something about that split second before they see each other that feels so sacred. Kelsi and Cameron’s first look was everything I love: they went straight in for a hug before a kiss, holding each other close like they’d been waiting forever for that exact moment. It was honest, tender, and completely them.
Before the ceremony, we ventured down the East Coast Trail where the tide was high and the waves were wild, a breathtaking contrast to the calm, heartfelt moments of the day. It felt like the ocean itself was celebrating with them. The evening ended just as beautifully as it began, with an intimate backyard celebration. Their families had prepared a potluck that overflowed with love, every dish laid out with care, every detail a reflection of how deeply this couple is loved. Weddings like these that are not just celebrations of the future ahead of you but the past that you have had together and the people that have been there the whole time. They are simply my favourite (and it might be what's up my sleeve for my own wedding).
Kelsi and Cameron’s wedding was the kind that reminds me why I do what I do. A celebration of love, family, and home, made perfect by the people who filled it.
