One of the joys of photographing weddings in my hometown is getting to celebrate with people I know just from being in the same small town. I first remember knowing Rebecca when she was in High School when we shared a french class together. She was always so bubbly and kind-hearted, willing to lend a hand or smile to whoever needed one. Something that has followed her in her adult life. Kodi I remember from beating around with "overshore kids" when staying at my grandparents home in Point May. Living that free-range childhood that only rural Newfoundland can offer with washed up sea turtles, sandy strands, and close community. When I say that these two beautiful people were made for each other, I mean it honestly and earnestly. Their day was absolutely gorgeous with sunny skies and lots of friends and family. I'm so glad I was there to capture it all.
